Robert B. WILENSKY, CPA

Founding Principal

Robert B. Wilensky, CPA, Founder and President of Wilensky & Co., P.C., graduated from Case Western University in 1972, and successfully passed the CPA exam in that year. He moved to Boston and started his career working in the tax and audit department of an international accounting firm working primarily with growth oriented companies. After several busy seasons and a move from Boston to Atlanta, he became Director of Operations of a national chain of gift shops. As director, he was instrumental in helping the business double in size. Finally, in 1977 Bob started Wilensky & Co., P.C. Bob’s vision was to create a tightly held boutique firm where clients enjoy high level accounting and financial information with first class service. His expertise in corporate and individual tax law has given him a reputation of saving clients vast sums in tax dollars.

Bob is also very active in the Atlanta community. Bob helped start and was Co-Chairperson for the Genesis Shelter. Genesis Shelter empowers homeless families with newborn babies to achieve self-sufficiency by providing resources and life skills education. He also served on the Board, as Treasurer of The Make A Wish Foundation, working to provide wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.

In addition to being a CPA, Bob is also a Georgia licensed insurance agent and mortgage broker.

KEVIN WILENSKY, CPA

Managing director

Kevin’s expertise as a tax and business advisor is the result of a genuine passion for entrepreneurship and helping those who pursue it. After acquiring his bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting from Tulane University he was brought on by Big 4 accounting firm as part of their audit division. Kevin was later hired as CFO at a cutting-edge market research firm in Atlanta, greatly expanding experience within the industry. While there he aided in growing the top and bottom line of the firm by significant margins. He continues in that role on a part-time consultant basis, helping to ensure their steady growth and aid with the development of spin off companies and products. In 2010, an entrepreneur at heart himself, Kevin launched a business advisory division at Wilensky & Co., PC. Today he serves not only as outsourced CFO to select clients, but also as a close advisor to entrepreneurs seeking to grow their businesses, mitigate taxes, and secure long term success.

Kevin is also philanthropic and involved in the community. He has served as Treasurer for extended terms on both the Jewish Kids Groups and Georgia Innocence Project boards.

Faith, CPA

MANAGER

Faith Shatzman is an Accounting and Tax professional with Wilensky & Co., P.C. Her vast 20 year professional background in public accounting, along with her strong interpersonal and team-oriented skills, makes Faith a valued addition to the Wilensky & Co. team. Her expertise focuses on complex research and tax preparation for corporate, partnership, estate, trust and individual returns for high net-worth individuals and multistate businesses. Prior to joining Wilensky & Co., Faith worked in one of the top regional accounting firms in the southeast. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from State University of New York, Buffalo. During her time away from the office, Faith enjoys gardening and travelling. She is co-chair of the Empty Nester Program and volunteers with the Coalition for Literacy Mentoring program.

Brenda

Accounting & Tax Professional

Brenda Atherton, Senior Accountant, has been with Wilensky & Co., P.C. since January 1990. Prior to joining W&Co, Brenda worked for public accounting firms in Montgomery, Alabama and Nashville, Tennessee. With 30 years of experience in the accounting and tax profession, Brenda works closely with medical practices, law firms, and their partners to not only prepare financials statements and tax returns, but to consult on medical practice strategic planning, new partner buy-in agreements, terminating partner' buy-outs, and other practice assistance. Brenda graduated Auburn University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. In her free time Brenda enjoys golfing with her husband, Bob, and spending time with her grandchildren.

DONNA

ACCOUNTING & TAX PROFESSIONAL

Donna’s expertise as a tax and business professional is a direct result of her combined 20+ years experience working in the ‘Big 4’  & in Corporate Tax. Donna’s experience and knowledge of Corporate, Individual, Trust & Estate tax allows her to be a collaborative partner with clients.

Donna graduated from Western Governors University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Specialization in Accounting and is ready to begin her Masters Program in Accounting.

While away from the office, Donna spends her time with her children and grandchildren and is an amazing chef.

HANNA

Accounting & Tax Professional

Hanna Lee, Senior Accountant, started with Wilensky & Co., P.C. in 2005 after spending five years working in New York City. Hanna has a wealth of experience and knowledge in both tax and accounting. She is not only proficient in working with corporations, partnerships, and individuals on their more traditional tax and accounting needs, but spends a lot of her time focused on trust, estate and gift tax work and review engagements. Hanna received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from St. John's University.

Subashini, CPA,EA

SENIOR Accounting & Tax Professional

Subashini K,CPA, EA is a senior accounting and tax professional of expertise in tax preparation, advice and planning, management of financial statements for audits, review and compliance. Prior to joining in Wilensky &Co, she worked as an accountant in a wealth management firm where she managed client portfolios across diverse industries, provided tax services to individuals and corporate businesses.

A staunch believer in commitment, validity and punctuality. Subashini incorporates her belief system in the maintenance of clientele relationship, researching and collecting documentation essential for auditing with simultaneous latitude of perennial learning and progression. Besides her professional career, Subashini is a resolute tennis player participating in singles and doubles tournaments of the Atlanta league division.

RACHEL

Administrative Services Director

Rachel is a highly skilled professional with a passion for supporting business owners. She has experience in the financial and corporate world supporting businesses, their clients and executives.  Her energetic personality and organizational skills has had a big impact within the firm and the clients Rachel is an Atlanta native who has volunteer experience in making meals for Atlanta’s homeless population as well as event planning for raising funds for at risk youth.

Sai Gopal

Tax Administrator

Sai joined Wilensky & Co in 2021 as a Tax Administrator. She is a highly qualified Tax Administrator with extensive knowledge of accounting principles, taxation policies, income tax procedures and office administration.

In her current role, Sai provides clients and her team first class service to ensure the best and smoothest experience. She is a team player who adapts seamlessly to constantly evolving accounting processes and technologies. She is known for her positivity, organization, and client first nature.

Her work is driven by a genuine desire to make people happy and finds joy in making sure her team and client have the tools they need to be successful.
